Ultraspin Oil Skimmer Features

• Self Adjusting: The surface skim-height is fully self-adjusting to take the finest cut of surface liquid despite changes in flow rate or fluid viscosity. This makes our skimmers suitable for unmanned operation.
   

• Can Tilt: Our skimmers work effectively even if the skimmer tilts. Tilting often occurs in confined pits or when the suction hose is twisted. Some other types of skimmer do not work if they are tilted even a small amount.
   

• Skims from all Directions: Ultraspin skimmers draw fluid from all directions around the skimmer. Some skimmer types draw oil from one direction only; making those types unsuitable in many applications.
   
• Construction: Solid, reliable, robust construction.
   
• Purpose Built: Our skimmers are purpose build to operate in tanks and pits. Many other skimmers are designed primarily for oil spill clean-up on open seas. Many of these types of skimmer do not work well in pits and tanks.
   
• Trash Screen: Some Ultraspin model skimmers can be supplied with purpose-built trash screens. This feature (when available) helps prevent suction hose blockage.
