New High Performance Separator Range Released

Ultraspin is proud to announce the release of a range of new high performance hydrocyclones. These new designs are the most significant evolution and improvement to the design of our separators in the last 10 years! The performance increase has come about by clever changes to the geometry and manufacture details of our separators. These changes enable our separators to ‘spin’ the fluid harder whilst using pressure drop more efficiently.

Both De-oiler and De-sander separators have been upgraded; so performance improvements and other changes will be noticed across our entire product range including:  

• Oily water separation systems

• Vehicle wash water reclaim systems

• Engineered systems

 The most significant features of the new separators that customers will notice in use are:

• Cleaner water: As a result of improved oil removal from De-oilers and improved solids separation with de-sanders.

• Favourable changes to under and overflow splits in both de-oiler and de-sander.

Ultraspin receives Government Industry award
Ultraspin has been presented with an award for innovation in the design of hydrocyclone separation systems by the AusIndustry arm of the Australian Federal Government. The prestigious award was made during an industry showcase night organised by the Industry Research and Development Board held at the famous MCG (Melbourne Cricket Ground). The award was accepted on behalf of Ultraspin by Engineering Manager Mr. Ivano Simonetto.

Also attending the evening were Sales Engineer Claude Mocellin, Ewan Geals and Environmental Engineer Katrin Sicken.
 

This certificate is hard to obtain and recognises the excellent work of all the company staff but in particular our Engineering Manager Ivano Simonetto and the company Service Manager Adrian Blinman. Ultraspin won similar awards with BP in 1999 and 2000.
